In 2009 she relocated to Los Angeles, California and completed a residency at the Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center at the Veteran’s Affairs Outpatient clinic in downtown Los Angeles. Her specialty is in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation. She also enjoys seeing children in the office. Dr. Parungao also keeps up with the latest in technology and eye care by regularly attending continuing education classes.
When she is not in the office seeing patients, Dr. Parungao enjoys an active lifestyle which includes travelling, working out, running, hiking and snowboarding. Ask her about running marathons sometime. She also enjoys a good book and is learning how to play croquet and play the guitar.
